about

Broken Glass Promenade is Part One of The Broken Glass Suite, which I compiled for this collection. This segment commemorates a walk through shards of glass while wearing sandals. Covering the ground, as far as the eye could see, were shards of glass.

That’s real Berkeley California recycled glass collected and field-recorded by Rance that is reflecting all of those phantom images.

lyrics

Broken Glass Promenade

Broken glass in minute slivers.
Broken glass four inches deep.
Broken glass in minute slivers.
I wish I wasn’t wearing my sandals.
